Hair straightening and hair rebonding are both hair treatments that are used to change the texture of the hair, but they work in different ways. Hair straightening involves the use of chemicals and heat to temporarily break down the bonds in the hair, making it straight and smooth. This process can be reversed after multiple washing and styling. On the other hand, hair rebonding is a more permanent treatment that uses chemicals to break down the bonds in the hair and then reshapes the hair into a new, straight and smooth form. This process cannot be reversed and the hair will remain straight until it grows out or is cut off. In general, hair straightening is a less intense and more temporary treatment, while hair rebonding is a more permanent and intense treatment.

After reading the comments below, definitely go for hair straightening. I went for hair rebonding once on 2009 and my hair is still dangerously straight (hence it looks flat) till now even when it grows out😪.

Rebonding is more permanent and straightening can only last for a temporary period.
