Covid vaccines for kids ages 12-17 years old

As a vaccinated adult, I know that I have the additional protection against the virus and as we slowly go back to normal, I look forward to having my kids receive the same protection that I have now that they are allowed to go outside. Here in the Philippines, kids ages 12-17 years old are now allowed to receive the Covid19 vaccine. Even though my kids are not yet qualified to receive the vaccine, I'll be more than willing to have them vaccinated once they are finally allowed. Have questions regarding vaccines?
