Is it true that breastfeeding helps to loose weight easier after delivery? Must LO latch to consider or pumping breastmilk out is also the same?

Yes and no, breastfeeding could help a nursing mother lose weight because the nursing mother's body would use a significant amount of energy to produce the milk needed. However, this also makes a mother hungry so that she would consume more to have enough to meet the energy requirement. Most of my friends keep to a healthy and balanced diet while breastfeeding and were able to lose some weight. Oh, it doesn't matter if baby is latching or not as the energy is used to produce the milk. So pumping will have the same effect as well.
