Is a sterilizer really needed and why?

I think it really depends on individual. My personal experience, my son has yet to fall sick other than the cause of his injection. Friends around me who doesnt have sterilizer their baby fell sick quite often — every 1-2month. Also for hygiene purpose as babies tend to get sick easily especially if its sick season. U could always use hot water to sterilize but ofc its better if u use it with glass bottle instead of plastic☺️ If u cant afford it, its not a need but its nice to have to save time as it also helps dry ur bottles!

It's not really needed. I think it's a trend within the new gen mummies now. I wanted to get it too because of the trend but my husband was against it saying it is unnecessary. Google says it's unnecessary too. I guess just get it if u have extra space and money, otherwise it's not a must!

Back in those days we all grew up fine without using such device. At most just use soap and hot water. I feel it's more of a marketing gimmick especially now there's breast pumps involved so they will emphasize on this to use steriliser
