Just to add on to what Roshni has pointed out about the potential issues of wearing your baby front facing, here is another article that you can refer to: http://shopzerberts.blogspot.sg/2013/05/the-forward-facing-controversy.html Basically, the writer, while not a proponent of forward facing carrying style, highlighted that the main factors to consider is likely your baby's development and personality. For example, it was proposed that young babies with poor head control should be worn facing in to insure their head is properly supported at all times, and that their airway is open. The article also highlighted some points to note when wearing your baby facing out, such as not letting your baby fall asleep while facing out as this style does not offer adequate support for the head while baby is sleeping. In addition, ergo360 clarified in their FAQ that they only recommend the front outward facing position be used only for short periods (short, active periods and not as the primary carrying method over multiple hours) starting from the age of 5-6 months upwards, and only when the child is awake. http://www.ergobaby.com.au/faqs/faqs-360/ Just some points for your information. :)
