Sometimes being understanding doesn’t help if you don’t set clear limits. If you can identify where the problem is coming from, it will be best

Last resort I raised my voice and he knows that is indication...it has passed my tolerance limit.

Set clear limits and if crossed, what are the consequences. Then make sure I follow thru.
In these cases, we need to be firm and set limits so that kids can learn
