The condom broke and I don’t know whether I’m having ovulation

My period came on 4 May and when my hub and I were doing the deed, the condom broke!!! I think I'm not on my ovulation, will I still get pregnant? :( It's damn scary!!!! We've used this established brand for years but how could it break!

Well.. condoms are never 100% safe. It is only for preventive measures and there’s always 0.001% risk. There’s still a chance of getting pregnant even if you’re not on ovulation. Just that the chance is lower than ovulation day. To be safe, take a pregnancy kit to test: https://www.clearblue.com/pregnancy-tests/early-pregnancy-testing or either, you can wait to see if your period comes.
