There’s a difference between being firm and strict. I would only be strict with them in certain situations like when it’s dangerous or there’s something important I need to get across. Being firm is important so that your kids know when they cross the line

Be strict only if has to do with manners and character building...otherwise let them explore and find their passion

I think it's important to be strict but also to make sure they know and feel that you love them no matter what.

There should be a balance. Strict when needed and allow some leniency if the situation is not as serious.

For their own good, yes. But treat them with respect is important. So that they will learn

Not all the time as else it can be a reason of undermining their confidence

Too strict and it might affect how close children feel to their parents

No! We must treasure our kids’ childhood, it’s not coming back

As with anything in life it should be done in moderation.

Especially when teaching them the wrong and right things
