Yes, it is normal. Some women may not ovulate until they stop breastfeeding. Woman's body take time to get back to its normal. The return of woman's period is influenced by many factors. Getting back normal periods for some may take a year or may be more.

If you are exclusively breastfeeding, yes normal. In my experience, after 11 months ako ngkaroon ulit ng period after giving birth. Then after that, after 18 months ulit kasi I'm still breastfeeding my baby so hindi pa ganun ka regular ang period.
