It is necessary to get a baby food processor? Thinking that baby will be eating puree food for maybe 2-3months only?

Other than puree food, I use it to mince up a small amount of chicken for my LO as my family don't eat minced chicken much, so I just cut a little and used the blender. You can try to utilise it in many ways.
