My new born baby looks cross eyed most of the time, should I be worried??

Hi Deepthi, As confusing as it is to understand, it is quite normal for newborn to 'appear' cross-eyed. Like Reine mentioned above, one reason are the extra folds of skin around the eyelids. Then there's also something called pseudoesotropia in babies, which is actually an optical illusion caused by their flat nose bridge. Usually a baby's nose nose is way more flatter than an adults. This too, corrects itself as they grow. If you notice that your baby's eyes are drifting or wandering independently to each other after six months, talk to your pediatrician.
