My baby is about 1 yr old,she got a insect bite, with medication it has healed but the scare remains, is there any remedy to get rid of the scares/marks

If you're keen going down the natural remedy route, you can try these methods that I use :) I use lemon juice on scars from mosquito bites. I'd let it sit on the scar for 10-15 minutes then rinse with warm water, twice a day. Avoid wearing too long because of the high content of vitamin C in the lemon can irritate baby's skin. You can also try lavender oil. Apply at the scar for about 15 minutes then rinse with water. Repeat twice or thrice a day.

I heard from mommies that it helps by applying breastmilk on it. Breastmilk has healing properties. Moreover, Breastmilk is generally good for skin with moisturising effect. You can get some expired breastmilk from Breastmilk mommy community such as Breastfeeding Mums group on Facebook.
