Female or male gynae

Hi mums. I was wondering if it’s necessarily more comfortable to have a female gynae rather than a male? Cause you will be asking a lot of personal questions and they will be checking on you a lot too. How did you choose your gynae? I have been asking around for recommendations. And now trying to shorten my list to decide.

First pregnancy. Excited to meet my mini me.

my personal preference for female gynae. my hb preference for one that delivers at TMC. made our choice based thereon.

I chose a male gynae for both my delivery. And you can ask them anything... They are very supportive too..

I feel there’s more convenience in having a female gynae. She can do everything without help of a nurse

I chose male gynae as they are generally gentler. I had bad experience w female gynaes before.

It was from KKH, couldn't quite rmb the name

We prefer female gynaecologist and our children delivered at Parkway East
