Spit up through nose

Mummies, is spit up through nose common? Baby just went through one episode of it and gave me quite a heart attack. Brought him to a&e where doctor said it’s just over feeding or gas.. what do we do if this happens again? Any mums with personal exp? Unable to sleep as I’m super worried and traumatized by baby’s reaction when he spit up through nose and couldn’t breathe well 😔

It depends on how frequent and how LO vomits . 2 of the cause is overfeeding and gas .Burp LO for atleast 15mins or after LO burps than can lay LO down . If vomit alot wait atleast 1hr before trying to feed back or if baby is asking for feed .

Ensure that you dont overfeed and always ensure milk is given on time. Burp them after every feeding period. This is to also avoid spit ups. Also avoid putting them flat after feeding too.
