When can I start giving food to my baby?

Hi Mummies, my son is 4mth now. Can I start giving him cereal? How many month should we feed our baby?

I started 4 month drinking cerelac cause gal not drinking milk n not putting on weight so my PD recommend it.. should just wait for 5 to 6 months.
