Coconut drink is said to help with a 'clean' baby @ birth or smooth delivery but truth is it has nothing to do with it. It's perfectly safe to drink at any stage. You can see on this app also. It has many benefits for your pregnancy so drink up & not worry. I'm a mum of 5, just gave birth a mth ago and had been drinking coconut drink as per the old wives tales (I drank at the 3rd trimester with no. 1 to 4 and drink as and when I like with no. 5) but Alhamdullilah my babies still comes out with vernix which is actually good bcos it protects the baby's skin and smooth delivery if you follow your gynae's advice of course.

Once a week is fine I drink since 1st trimester, share with my 18months lo every week 1st pregnancy also I drank weekly since 1st trimester

I think it's not harmful. but to be safe since you're still 1st trimester, if really crave for it just drink a few sips. Not too much.

I started drinking at 28 weeks which is 3rd trimester. 2-3 times daily. So far so good. Very hydrating during the hot season. ☺️

It's safer to have the coconut drink during second trimester onwards, cause it helps with smooth delivery. (:

I drank but a few sips as the weather is really hot and I need to cool down..
