I had a gathering with a few families with tots his age. We hired some tumbling toys and rented the party space at the Macdonalds outlet at West Coast. What we learned from the 1st birthday of our firstborn was that big parties can be overwhelming for little ones. So keeping it intimate, while following their nap time and meal schedules so that they remain calm, is important so that they can enjoy their day.
