Things to get at Mothercare

Hi mummies! Any recommendations on what is worth getting from Mothercare? I got $1K worth of paragon vouchers so may as well just spend it on getting things for my newborn. Or should I just get things from the upcoming mummy fair in Oct? Will it be cheaper? Thank you! #advicepls #firstbaby #pregnancy

Congratulations momma! Exciting times šŸ™ŒšŸ˜ I know it's overwhelming for all the baby stuff esp if it is your first baby. I highly recommend buying things in Mothercare when it comes to stroller (baby zen yoyo), car seat (Cybex which is compatible with baby zen yoyo), Baby Bjorn Bouncer Bliss Mesh, Ergobaby - Omni 360 Cool Air Mesh Baby Carrier, and Tommy Timmy milk.bottle sets (usually on promo along with the sterilizer). I love the fact that I can check all mentioned items in their store. As a first time mum, you just want to feel or touch those items. The staff are very helpful and guide you as well. I agree that it can be costly but it's all worth it. It's a kinda good investment. My boy is already 2 and all items are still in good shape, probably can still pass to my second one in the future. Then other needed things can be order thru online or any mummy fair :)

I think you shop at mummy fair n 11.11 online first. Mothercare have sales sometimes so u can wait if vouchers not expiring soon. There will be no lack of things too buy as your child grows up! Then if friend has kids birthday or just born, you can get decent gifts from MC using the vouchers šŸ¤

things like stroller Babyzen, price is same at all platform personally I don't shop at mummy fair or baby fair, it is soooo ex, is just that retailer package it nicely with so call FREE gift paragon has many other shop like metro marks Spencer which carry baby product which worth to check out

Personally, I find that MC is super overpriced even when on sale. And although itā€™s a rather trusted brand, some of the quality (towels for example) are not very good yet expensive. Online double digit shopee/lazada will be cheaper. The upcoming fair will probably be cheaper than MC as well. šŸ˜Š

Totally agree!

I got all my bb stuff from mummy's market sale and online platforms like shopee/lazada during those special sale days. Mothercare stuff usually arent most price competitive.
