EP mums

Hi mummies, recently i found out that while pumping, especially for my right breast, i can see small red dots on my nipple..that are most likely blood..is this normal or is my nipple injured from too much pumping?

The breast flange should be the right size to avoid damages to the nipple. Can measure the diameter of your nipple to get a good fit. I'm using spectra and find that the default 28mm is too large for me and my whole aerola also gets sucked in. I got the smaller size of 24mm and it worked better

It’s likely to be blood blisters which is caused by friction. It’s not normal. Have you checked your flange size? It’s probably not the correct size. Need to change to the correct fit before it gets worse.
