Do we need to soap/shampoo newborns and babies?

Hello mummies, do we need soap/shampoo for bb when they are less than 1 year old? I've heard people say don't need soap at all vs should use some soap – any advice? Thanks so much

Yup small amount will do. Due to hygiene also, esp above newborn age, theyre very active very sweaty, you would not want bacteria build up especially around folded area like butt, neck, in between thigh and all
