Inflamed perineum

Hi mummies or mummy to be. Im only 27 weeks into my pregnancy and my perineum is inflamed and I can’t seems to sleep well because it’s uncomfortable. Is this normal or a sign of infection?

how do you tell it’s inflamed?

Because when I sleep it gets uncomfortable. When I use the bidet I can feel it’s there and when I touch it as well.
