Does solid food affect milk intake?

Hi mummies, would like to check as my LO milk intake declined after taking solid food especially so for now at 8mo..is this normal? My LO recently kept vomit milk too.. should i cut down his solid intake as I understand under 1 yo, milk will still be the main source of nutrient? Currently I am only feeding LO puree and the amount is half of small bowl. Thanks!
