Backache at week 40

Hi mummies, I'm at my week 40+2 now and having backaches while walking, showering and even sitting down. Wonder is it a sign of labour? I have no commonly known labour symptoms yet. #FTM

Experiencing backaches at week 40 of pregnancy can be a common occurrence as your body prepares for labor. While backaches can be uncomfortable, they are not always a definitive sign that labor is imminent. However, they can be an indication that your body is starting to get ready for the birthing process. To help alleviate the backaches, you can try the following remedies: 1. Practice good posture while sitting and standing. 2. Use a maternity support belt or pillow to provide extra support to your back. 3. Engage in gentle exercises like prenatal yoga or swimming to help relieve back pain. 4. Take warm baths or use a heating pad on a low setting for comfort. 5. Get regular prenatal massages from a certified therapist. 6. Stay hydrated and maintain a healthy diet to support overall wellness. If the backaches persist or become more intense, it's advisable to consult your healthcare provider to rule out any other underlying issues. Remember, every pregnancy is unique, so it's essential to listen to your body and seek medical advice when needed. Wishing you a smooth and comfortable journey as you approach your due date! https://invl.io/cll6she

Hello mommy, it doesn’t seem so because it might be from the weight of your bump since you are at week 40 now. However, please continue to monitor and check for other symptoms.
