High blood sugar in pregnancy is not caused by carbs and sugar intake but also high fat intake and little movement. Try to avoid fried foods, replace fried foods with vegetables and you definitely must start exercise like yoga pilates swimming or lots of walking (try minimum 15,000 steps a day). Your body that is moving will then take away sugar from blood and will use it to power muscles. You are at risk for gestational diabetes with high blood sugar so do everything you can do avoid it. Diet with no exercise will only be partially successful.

everybody has blood sugar, so do you mean yours is high? reduce junk food and carb intake, eg rice. should ask your gynae for better advice
