How often to sterilise pacifier

Mummies how often do you sterilise pacifier when ur baby was 4 mth old? I steam sterilise them once a day. Is it too often? How do i clean pacifier if i do not want to sterilise them too often? With soap or is rinsing with hot water fine?

I have a total of 4 pacifiers and alternate the usage. I just invested in a UV sterilizer so that helps. To answer your question, if at home, I sterilize the pacifier if it’s dropped on the floor and if outside (e.g. infant care), when she get home, I will give her a clean one and wash+sterilize the one she used outside. Hope this helps.
