How much weight gain during pregnancy is considered normal/healthy?

Hey mummies, how much weight gain throughout pregnancy is considered normal or healthy? I’m only just 6 weeks pregnant but have gained quite a bit of weight that I’m starting to feel insecure about my body already and fear for the next 34 weeks to come.. I used to engage in intermittent fasting (16-8) and workout quite a bit (HIIT and strength training mainly), but was told to refrain from any of these during pregnancy. So now I try to briskwalk on treadmill and do light stretches instead, and snack on fruits, yogurt, and granola oats in between meals.. but my weight has gained from 49kg > 53kg… I don’t think it’s normal to be gaining 4kg at just 6 weeks. Any advice?? #insecure #weightgain

I too workout regularly before I was pregnant 😅😅 first trimester somehow my appetite was bigger and very quickly I gained 8kg before my second tri. 😂 I hated my weight gain too because I was quite fit prior. I’m at 35 weeks now and have gained around 12kg. I actually continued my workouts through my entire pregnancy and am still actively working out! It’s okay to continue as long as you were already doing it before pregnancy :) don’t stress over the weight gain, after giving birth then shed the weight!!
