How to rinse off baby soap during bath time

Hey mummies, hope u all dont find my qns silly. I am a FTM. How do u all rinse off your baby soap during bath time? I have only been pumping a tiny bit of shampoo into the bath tub (taught by confinement nanny). Have been doing this when he was a newborn even to now when he is already 4 months old. Want to put shampoo on his body but I'm struggling to figure out how to keep him soap-free when the soap just wash down his body into the bath tub, which he's sitting in. Also, pls let me know when did u start to put shampoo on ur baby's body? Worry that am i doing this too late? Bc his body has been covered in germs for so long? 🤨

My baby is 4mo too! Have been showering him with soap completely since around 2 months. I put a bath seat on the floor then I fill a basin with warm water and use a cup to pour water over him and wash! You can also put a bath seat in the tub and open the stopper, but my son kicks a lot, so now that he is bigger I usually just put the bath seat on the bathroom floor because otherwise he'll kick the bathtub walls and try to escape 😮‍💨😂 I do this because he gets pretty sweaty so I don't like to soak him in the dirty water, and also because he sometimes pees or poops during bath time and I don't want it floating around LOL. I also put a cloth on him so he doesn't get cold! I'll put down the things I use below in case you need them Bath seat: https://sg.shp.ee/WJXJmuG Bath tub: https://sg.shp.ee/CnRCq4R Basin: https://sg.shp.ee/7PJz4oz Soap+Shampoo: https://sg.shp.ee/HaYzb8V
