High glucose during pregnancy

I had high glucose diagnosed at wk 20. Ordered to do OGTT the next day and got referred to endocrine doc on same day. Control diet, prick daily. When it stabilises and coz i m eating almost same food daily, the doc told me i could lessen the number of times i prick (which i didnt). It last all the way till i delivered. Turns out i am diabetic as my gynae had guessed.
