11 days old drinking 130ml
Hi mummies, my bb is 11 days old and is already drinking 130ml formula per feed. Is that too much? #1stimemom #advicepls #pleasehelp
On average, formula-fed newborn will drink around 2 to 3 ounces (60 to 90 milliliters) of formula with every feeding. They'll need to eat about every three to four hours. This amount increases as your baby grows and is able to take more at each feeding. Give only what is recommended and stated on the formula tin is my advice.
Read morehi shan currently my baby is 21 days old and started drinking 90ml. Based on my formula tin 1 to 2 months then increase to 90ml. My baby havent 1 month yet but 60ml isnt enough for her. So i gave her more. Actually quite worried if i overfeed her too. ok im not alone 😭Btw do u stop breastfeeding? #imfirsttimemumtoo
Read moreMy boy is currently 14 days old and he takes 100ml every 3 hours which I think this is a lot for his age. But he seems comfortable with this amount and no vomiting noted. So I just continue with it. Btw his weight is currently at 97th percentile 😅
Wow i wish my baby got such a appetite. In general as a reference: (150ml x baby’s weight) /# of feed per day should give u the volume per feed… but of cos that’s just a reference
every baby is different, there's no too much or too little. my 6months only drink 100-120ml per feed every 2hr but she's above average weight and growing well.
my girl is also drinking 120ml at 2 weeks. total amt exceed the daily formula by abt 100ml. pd says its ok. she doesn't puke out milk n has good weight gain
There’s no hard and fast rules when comes to feeding. So long they don’t vomit out every feed, feed as much as the child needs
Yes .. normally 50 to 60ml baby drink untill 1 month , r u giving every 2 hrs or more than that . Baby feels quite hungry ..
I ever asked my doc if i overfed my baby too but doc said if she can drink, why not? Just make sure she dun vomit out.
