Purée Making for 6 months and water consumption with milk

Hi Mummies, My baby is starting on solids soon at 6 months. -Do we blend and make purée with milk or water? - What is the balance of milk and water in terms of volume we should give the baby everyday, other than solid food? - What kind of food to avoid at the start? - Is it ok to give baby food from jar everyday when traveling for a week?#firsttimemom TIA.

Water or milk is all okay, up to your own preference. I usually use about start with 10-20ML and pour in slowly to get my preferred consistency. I started with cerelac and apple/veggie puree. But since I’m a noob cook, I prefer food jars. I gave her age appropriate food jars then some days porridge.
