Does any mummy here know what is this white spots/patches on baby’s chest/neck?

Hi mummies, my baby is 1month plus and i found out she having these white patches around her neck and chest area. Brought her to PD and polyclinic and the doctor can’t advise what is this and only told us to keep these area moisturised. Can any mummy here advise me? first time mom here and im quite worried as it seemed to be spreading.

My daughter had a similar issue on her back when she was about 8 months old. My PD wasn’t sure of what the issue was either. I took her to Dr Lynn Chiam’s skin clinic at Mt E. I think the issue was linked to sweating in her case. We got a steroid based ointment that cleared it up within a month or 2. I’d recommend taking her to a skin specialist.

Sorry, it was a year back. So don’t remember exactly. But I think it was around $100. Can give them a call and enquire about consultation fee if you’d like. They’re very approachable and kind.

My 2 mnth old baby have these same issue in her neck and back. It seems spreading. I dnt knw how it happened. Can any one tell me what it is and its cure? Will it go away naturally? Should I consult a skin specialist? Pls help me.
