started with my daughter around 1 1/2 years old sya by wearing panties during the day. hit and miss sya for a period and will be messy. have a potty available near your kid. and even if he/she misses, assure that its okay, and try again to pee/poop in the toilet/potty. for pee, try to ask your child to pee every 2 or 4 hours.
