baby language development

My little one is now 11 months old, and I'm curious about what's considered normal for language skills at this age. I've noticed that my baby babbles a lot and seems to be trying to mimic some sounds, but they don't have any real words yet. Is this typical for an 11-month-old? When did your babies start saying their first words, and what were they?

Yes and yes ure on the right track! Usually but not every child can do this around this age babble mama/baba/dada. Sounds promising right?! Mine is 15months and sooooo close to enunciating common words like stop/that/makan/hello all pelat. I felt that its abit slow but to be fair when i was a kid i only spoke one or two words way after 2 years of age so 🤷🏻‍♀️Now i just wont shut up. As an educator i sometimes use this as a reference https://raisingchildren.net.au/babies/development/language-development/language-3-12-months This for extension https://www.naeyc.org/our-work/families/support-language-development-infants-and-toddlers This for local reference https://www.kkh.com.sg/patient-care/areas-of-care/childrens-services/Documents/DCD-Language-Milestones.pdf Cheers!
