Tested positive before period

Hi My last period is 11/9/2024 and i have been ttc for 2nd baby for 8 months. My average cycle is 40 days and my next expected period is due on 19/10/2024. However, my instinct told me to test on 14/10/2024 and it came out positive. I tested thrice. 2 with cheap kit and 1 with clearblue. All came out to be positive. Just curious if this means anything? For my first born, it came out positive only 1 day after i missed my period.

It’s a good thing that you tested positive before period. There’s a general correlation between testing positive early and higher chance of live birth / lower chance of miscarriage. You should rejoice rather than be worried. Congratulations !

errr, my cousin do have period when she's pregnant for the first 2 months. I think is quite common. anyway, best to wait maybe another few weeks for a scan.

I think u can try using the ovulation test. if the test line is darker than the control line, definitely u are preggy.

Mine tested positive before my period and I was really pregnant 😁 my instinct told me to test as well.
