NUH Bill Size for Ward A1

Hi all, I've recently been discharged from NUH and received the final bill. I am required to pay $5.3k cash altogether for two days stay at the A1 Ward. I did normal delivery with epidural. Based on what I've heard from friends and this app, most of you guys paid between $3.5- 4k cash only. Are they overcharging me? I've already emailed them. How much did you guys pay for yours?

1) Why would NUH, a public hospital, overcharge??? I can imagine you being paranoid if you had gone private. 2) Why are you being uptight about this 5.3K amount when you should be focusing on your baby???🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️
