No heartbeat

On my own calculation (and i do have a very regular period), i'm 7 weeks, 1 day pregnant. But my ultrasound looks like this with no heartbeat (also my ob said it's only 5 weeks 5 days old). My ob told me that i should go back next week and if still there's no heartbeat, it means that the embryo doesn't develop. Can i still make my hopes up?
