When will you be taking your Maternity Leave?

I’m trying to sort out my annual leave and also maternity leave, would like to know how is everyone planning to arrange that and also, how early/ in advance would you be taking it? I’m planning for an elective csect so I’m thinking maybe 3 days before? What do you all think? #1stimemom #firsttimemom

u can request your gynae to give you hospitalization leave (HL) 3 days before. it’s better to activate maternity leave on baby’s birth date, so that u can save your ML and AL

Im planning to take HL 1 or 2 weeks before my c-sect. My gynae says shouldnt be a problem. Further im carrying twins. ML will start on the day i give birth.

try getting HL. Start your ML from the day your child is born. u might want to consider having a week rest before your csect.

You can take ML as early as 1 month before EDD

I started my maternity leave 1week before due
