is spotting normal after bowel movement?

I'm in week 8 of pregnancy. Just had spotting that looks kind of fresh blood when wipe after straining hard to poop. Is it normal?

Sometimes the skin tears because of straining when pooping! If you have constipation problem and fruits/ veggies doesn't help at this point, you can ask your gynae for medications that soften the stool. :)

It is. But do monitor the situation and head to your gynae if it persists.
