I'm in the process of sourcing for a good pre-school for my child in the east area. I'm on the look out for any pre school in the east with highly recommended Teachers. Regardless of qualifications. Someone who has been a playgroup teacher for a few years and is caring, enthusiastic and a good teacher. Any recommendations? I'm aware the turn over rate for pre school Teachers is rather high.. Any SG 50 mummies enrolled their little ones in any pre school yet? :)

Rosvinder, you are right to be concerned about the quality of preschool teachers when deciding a place for your child. Teachers play an important part in your child's experience in a childcare centre. You can look up www.childcarelink.gov.sg to search for a childcare centre based on your preferred location, child's age group, fees range. I'd share the Pat's Schoolhouse at 26 Still Road South (Opp Marine Parade CC) - they shifted there from Meyer Road. Heard of good feedback on their teachers, and the new location is a beautiful heritage building with spacious outdoor area. Another one you can check out is Odyssey @ 101 Wilkinson Road. Award-winning curriculum, and good teacher-child ratios. Not many childcare centres have such spacious outdoor environment. Heard of parents who send siblings there, though the fees are quite premium. You might want to check out these quality Centres in the East.
