Fever at 15 Weeks

Hi all! I’m having fever (up till 39.3) for 3 days straight. Have taken paracetamols, but my fever keeps returning. My NUH Dr told me to just see GP. I’m worried if baby will be affected. Anyone else experienced the same? 😪

Baby won’t be affected if you take pregnancy safe medication. Just make sure not to take panadol extra as it contains caffeine, and follow the dosage given by the GP. I fell sick badly frequently during my pregnancy as well. My gynae advised to drink more water, take vitamin C and rest well! I delivered a healthy baby 3 months ago 😊 don’t worry!

Baby wont effect anything. I got high fever for almost 5 days during my first pregnancy , i dont even have a voice to talk for a week. But baby turned out well
