Food after Csect

I’m going for Csect later at 11am. I’m required to fast from 4am onwards. Anyone went through Csect recently at mount E? Want to check if we are allowed to eat right after Csect or when will we be given food?

My doctor allowed me to sip some water. Anw aft csect u will only have liquid diet. So they will only serve porridge and u'll be given a medicine to loosen your stool cz u aren't allowed to use ur stomach muscles for passing motion. U'll be on catheter too as u'll be bed bound throughout the day. The next day then they will ask u to go to the toilet to pass motion but tt gonna be quite uncomfortable.

I didn’t really feel hungry right after my c sect but yeah I ate on the same day 🤣

Yes. I rmb that I asked for a drinking straw so that I don’t have to sit up straight.
