Can KKH subsidised choose Ward A for delivery?

I'm currently under KKH subsidised but hubs & I are thinking of going for ward A during delivery as the subsidised wards start from 4 or 5 bedder only. Has anyone done that before? Is it worth it?

Nope. There’s no subsidy for Ward A

    Yup, this we know, just wondering if it's possible to change to private for the delivery and whether it's worth it?
