chlorpheniramine for flu during pregnant

Im currently in 2nd. Ive been having runny nose (and bad cough) for more than a week. Went to guardian pharmacy and they gave me chlorpheniramine, saying its safe for pregnancy. Anyone has taken it before ? Still contemplating but i doubt my flu will go on its own without medication. #firstpreganancy

I’ve had very bad runny/blocked nose since 1st trimester. According to gynae it’s one of my pregnancy symptoms. I’m 23 weeks now and it hasn’t gone away. So I’ve been taking it very frequently, especially at night else I can’t breathe properly. It is safe. :)

Hi are you able to share how mg of chlorpheniramine was prescribed to you? I am struggling almost everyday with runny/blocked nose (am week 19 now) that it affected my sleep and i have been trying to avoid taking it. Used to take it before pregnancy and it works wonders but worried it’ll affect baby since i’m pregnant now. But i cant take it anymore last night and took 4mg one.

as I was currently in the third trimester I also took chlorpheniramine It's safe for pregnancy prescribed by my gyane.
