Discomfort and insomnia.

I'm currently 8 weeks pregnant. Been experiencing insomnia and joint aching. Anyone facing this? Any solution to share? #pleasehelp #advicepls #firstbaby #firsttimemom

First trim was hard. I'm Week 14 now and thank God things have gotten better. Hang in there, mummy. What I did for: Insomnia 1) Hubby to gently massage/rub legs and feet 2) Read 📚 3) Avoid salty food during dinner and do not drink water 2-4 hours before sleep. Else would wake up frequently and have difficulty falling asleep again. Joint ache 1) Heated pad 2) Light stretching Consider lucky if you didnt get nausea, stomachache, headache/migraine and heartburn. 🥲

I do get nausea but not tat bad. the rest don't have (touch wood)... haha

I also hasn't slept through the night since my pregnancy. Been waking up to pee even in 1st Tri. Week 8, fetus ok all the way but I had bleeding and was even admitted to hospital, hospitalisation leave for bedrest. During the start of 2nd Tri, my feet started to swell. it helps when I started to use a pillow to elevate my feet when I sleep. Now I'm week 27, going 3rd trimester with an active baby boy, symptoms mostly disappeared. So press on! u have a while to go!

Unfortunately this is quite common..i haven't slept through the night since week 6 or 7 haha. In week 34 now. Try to go to bed earlier to compensate for the tossing and turning you'll do in the middle of the night.

Yes normal, itll get worst in 3rd trim. can do stretching before sleep
