I had a previous EP and received treatment at KKH, and one doc during that time told me if I ever get pregnant again, to just get myself into KKH’s UOGC (a&e for pregnant women).
So this time round, I found out when I was only 3.5 weeks along and I rushed down to KKH’s UOGC. Subsidized patient because it is a&e. Too early to see anything, so they took blood test, got me to come back 2 days later for another blood test to see if hcg levels progressing correctly (EP usually has different hcg levels trend than normal pregnancy). Thankfully, my hcg levels did double, a good indication.
Then I went back again at week 5 to see if there was anything in my uterus and we managed to see GS and YS in uterus, but too early for heartbeat. So gynae said to go again only in week 8 - for me that is 5 Oct.
So maybe if you are truly worried and given your past history, it is ok to go a&e? At least that’s how it was for me, as advised by one gynae during my last EP treatment process.
