Pregnancy safe skincare

I'm 8th week and i just realized that retinol is not recommended to use during pregnancy. My facewash contains retinyl palmitate. Does this mean that i need to switch to a different facial wash? I have combo skin and i tend to break out alot if i don't use my current face wash. Any advise on this pls?
