Covid vaccine during breastfeeding

I’m at my 34 weeks now and have yet to vaccine. I’m Planning to do it after delivery. I’m still thinking when is the best time to do it. For breast feeding mummies, do you dispose your milk for a week after each jab? Or how does it works? Thanks In advance ! #pleasehelp #advicepls

Hi, I just chanced upon this article maybe will make you change your mind in receiving vaccine now rather than later. As currently our ICU has quite a number of preg mums due to contracting covid. But ultimately this is your own choice & decision to make. https://sg.theasianparent.com/maternal-antibodies-cross-placenta-to-fetus?utm_source=question&utm_medium=recommended & if you're worried abt the side effects of the vaccine while bf-ing, you may try to pump & dump for 1-2 days & slowly start feeding your baby once a day w your post vaccination bm. Keep close observation on your baby, if everything seems normal you may continue to breastfeed as per usual. Vaccination will only start taking effect 14days after injection hence your baby still will receive some antibodies from you too. Stay safe & take care!
