Confinement nanny?

I’m at 12 weeks now and I’m thinking if I should get a part time confinement nanny. My mom is no longer with us and I’m uncomfortable with the idea of a stranger staying with us or my in laws popping over every now and then… I also cannot deal with people messing up my kitchen. I’m a first time mom and I’m also considering braving through the first month with my hubby. Anybody with similar exp can advise? 🥲

We are FTP who didn’t engage any confinement nanny as well. We just took confinement meals. First few months it’s actually quite easy to handle as baby pretty much just sleep eat poop. Don’t even need to think how to entertain baby. The only tiring part is trying to get accustomed to frequent waking and lack of sleep (if you are intending to bf) I personally find that not having a confinement nanny or help for the first month pretty much helped us to get used to the routine. No issues with “Baby refuses to this and that after nanny leaves.” 😊 As overwhelming as it is, I would still do without a CN for my future pregnancies. 😊

I had birth with confinement nanny vs birth without confinement nanny. Nanny will take care of my elder toodler and cook for entire family (not her job scope she went beyond hers to help me) and make sure I have sufficient rest and food. Where by when my elder one born without a confinement nanny I struggle and went into depression due to not enough rest. So really depends on individual.
