Petite means harder to push baby?

Question

If i am petite and small, with quite a big tummy(baby still within normal weight) Will that means i will have a harder and longer time pushing baby out and higher chance getting bigger tear/episiotomy ? Or it doest have anything to do with small body.#FTM

Not true.. I’m a petite mom too. Trick i to only push when you feel the contraction so you don’t waste your energy pushing unnecessarily. My baby was 3.6kg. No tear.

Well it depends on how huge your baby/baby bump is. I am standing at 153cm and both my kids are 3kg above. I had little tearing for both but in terms of pushing no issues. Except for my first because her head's big therefore need vacuum assisted delivery. Everything else was okay.
