If i have to give 2 months notice for my job, can i resign on the 2nd or 3rd mth of maternity? Meaning to say i don have to go back to work after maternity.

For my company , hr policy is that out of the 4 mths maternity, 2 months must be taken at one go, and the other Two must be cleared within a year . Also the other Two months cannot be used to offset notice period
